Oberon – Tarana 20/7 - Last months ride saw an intrepid crew of around 12 take on the elements in a ride out through the Mt David – Black Springs area and on to Oberon.
A lengthy stop for morning tea in Oberon had the shop assistant at the coffee shop thinking that she would never see the end of the list of coffee’s to be made; she even had to send out for more milk.
From Oberon it was on to Hampton and back through Bowenfels and Sodwalls to the Tarana Pub for lunch. (I can recommend the Tarana Tiger Burger.)
People made their way home from Tarana via their most favoured road, the Brewongle-Oberon Road route being our preference, the 2 or 3 kilometres of dirt not being much of a worry.
Although the breeze was fresh at times you couldn’t help but feel that
no matter what time of year it was you would still have enjoyed this ride.
